Accessibility Statement
Personalized Orthopedics of the Palm Beaches wants every patient to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Many of our patients are older adults, so the site uses large, readable type (body text is 18 pixels and scales with your browser's font settings), strong color contrast and generous tap targets.
Accessibility is built into the site itself rather than added through an overlay tool. Every page is server-rendered HTML with real links and headings, so it works with assistive technology and with JavaScript turned off.
What we have done
- A skip link at the top of every page jumps straight to the main content.
- Pages use a logical heading structure and labeled navigation landmarks, including breadcrumbs.
- Menus, accordions and the mobile menu can be used with a keyboard, and focus is visible.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text sizes are set in relative units so browser zoom and font settings enlarge the whole page.
- Phone numbers are real links, so you can call with one tap or through assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some documents linked from this site, such as older PDF guides and forms, may not be fully accessible. Embedded maps and pages hosted by other companies, such as our patient portal, online bill pay and scheduling pages, are outside our direct control. If you have trouble with any of them, call us and we will provide the information in another way.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this website is hard to use, please call our office and tell us the page and the problem. We will help you get the information you need and work to fix the issue. We review this statement as the site changes.
