Scheduling an appointment

Call our office to schedule. Calling lets our team match you with the right physician for your problem, check your insurance and any referral you need, and find a time that works for you. If you are a new patient, let us know what brought you in and whether you have had imaging elsewhere. You can also send an online appointment request, and our team will follow up with you.

Physical therapy

Physical therapy and hand therapy are in the same office as our physicians. To schedule or change a therapy appointment, call our main number and use the physical therapy extension shown on this page.

Billing and insurance questions

We accept Medicare, most commercial PPO plans and workers' compensation. To find out whether we take your plan, call our office or check with your insurance company. Co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles are due at the time of your visit.

If you have a question about a bill or an insurance claim, call our office and ask for our billing specialists.

Medical emergencies

In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 right away. Do not wait to reach our office. Tell the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Personalized Orthopedics of the Palm Beaches so they can contact us.

Go to the emergency room or call 911 for a suspected fracture with deformity, inability to bear weight, loss of bladder or bowel control, sudden severe weakness, or signs of infection after surgery such as fever, spreading redness or drainage.

After-hours urgent needs

If you are an established patient and have an urgent medical need after our regular hours, call our main number to reach our answering service.

Referrals for HMO and managed-care patients

If your insurance is an HMO or managed-care plan that requires a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be in our office before your visit. Please arrange it with your primary care physician ahead of time. If a required referral has not arrived by the time of your appointment, the visit will be rescheduled.
