Concierge Orthopedic Care (P3)

What P3 is

Dr. Martin is the founder of Personalized Orthopedics of the Palm Beaches and a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who focuses on hip and knee replacement, complex revision surgery and arthritis care. P3 was created for patients who want more time with him and a more private, coordinated experience.

Before your visit, your concierge calls you to talk about your goals so the appointment can be planned around them. On the day of the visit you use a separate P3 entrance, check in at a private reception area instead of the main waiting room, and then go to any needed imaging or meet Dr. Martin in the P3 consultation or exam room.

Benefits of the annual program

Members of the P3 annual program receive:

• Non-emergency appointments with Dr. Martin reserved for the same week or next week after your request when medically necessary. Same-day or next-day visits are often possible but cannot be promised.
• Appointments with Dr. Martin of at least 45 minutes, with minimal waiting.
• A separate entrance, so you do not use the main waiting room.
• A private reception room apart from the main office.
• A larger P3 exam room.
• A dedicated concierge who helps with scheduling your visits and any additional studies, and can help coordinate hotel or transportation needs. Your concierge can be reached by direct phone line during normal business hours.
• A pre-appointment phone call to discuss the goals of your visit.
• 12 months of direct email access to Dr. Martin for non-emergency questions.
• The option to enroll in the P3 surgical option or other P3 programs.

P3 does not replace emergency care. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

How billing works

P3 has two separate parts. Your medical care, such as office visits, imaging, injections and surgery, is billed to Medicare or your insurance plan in the usual way, with your normal co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles.

The P3 membership benefits, such as the extended visits, private entrance, concierge service and email access, are not covered by Medicare or any insurance plan. Those are paid by you. Our concierge team can explain the current program fee and what it includes before you decide.

Who P3 is for

P3 is designed for adults with hip or knee concerns who would like to see Dr. Martin specifically, want longer and unhurried visits, and value help coordinating their care. It can suit people with complex problems such as a failed or painful joint replacement, patients weighing whether to have hip or knee replacement, and those who travel to Palm Beach County for care and need help with logistics.

You do not need to join P3 to see Dr. Martin or any of our physicians. All patients receive the same medical standards of care; P3 adds access and convenience.

How to join

Call our office and ask for the concierge team. They can answer questions about the program, explain the fee and what is covered by insurance, and schedule your first P3 visit with Dr. Martin.
