Rita Zimmermann, LPTA, CLT, has more than 30 years of experience with orthopedic, geriatric and pediatric patients and is a certified manual lymphatic therapist.

About Rita
Rita received her Associate of Applied Science with Honors in Physical Therapy from Union College in New Jersey. She has worked extensively with orthopedic, geriatric, physically disabled and pediatric patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient rehabilitation, school and home health. She maintains a compassionate concern for people and a desire to use her skills to enhance patient well-being.
Rita attended the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in March 2006 and received her certification as a Manual Lymphatic Therapist. In June 2018, she completed the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) program for Personal Fitness and received her certification as a Personal Trainer, and in April 2019 she received her Senior Fitness Specialist certification from NASM.
Her most rewarding experience has been raising her three children and becoming a grandmother to four beautiful grandsons. Faith is a central part of her life, and she volunteers at her church with children of elementary school age. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, traveling, photography and scuba diving.
